On the onset itself let me be very clear that being there walking on that path amidst the crowd, feeling the grace deep in your heart, crying slowly and shedding tears of love is nothing less than a miracle because you are one of the few lacs of people who are there on this day. In a world full of assholes, he has chosen you also to be there so be thankful for it forever for the feeling which it generates which makes the heart pound and explode. Maybe you will realize in the coming lines what I meant.
2022 15th June in Kainchi dham
It was not like the last year, this year I wanted to be there and was thinking only and only of being there unaware of the fact that this time I will be facing a huge crowd and a very lessoning queue.
I started in the shuttle service and my mind started to swirl with thoughts of so many things I want to happen and not to happen. It dropped all of us devotees in the designated area and everyone started walking towards Kainchi dham. I looked for bhajans as this time I had brought my headphone and surprisingly I could not locate the file so I played Krishna Das`s Hanuman Chalisa. After some time I started the Sunderkand of Kainchi dham singers and then after a few minutes, the network dropped. So there was heat wind people happiness on their faces, stupid chatters, and family talks going on around me. 2 hours went by in moving around 200 meters.

Then I started to think shall I go ahead break the line and call someone to arrange a quick insertion of me into the entrance gate and this was the second when the father behind me told his little daughter who was getting tired and irritated in the heat, “ Why cant you just walk in the line as this is just once in a year, why do you want to break the rules”, and he said go ahead and sit some where and when we will reach there be with us.
Maharaj Ji always has answers to your questions, I was only contemplating of doing it the wrong way, being smart but then there was no doubt left. The guy in front of me joined the talk and said, “yes, this is the day we should obey rules otherwise what is the fun and joy in all the stuff”. That was the end. We kept walking slowly and soon the entrance gate was visible. I was really not expecting so much of it but deep in my heart I was feeling the joy of being there walking slowly to my beloved, guru, father, mother friend and whatever is there – of course enemy when he does not listen to me, he is the biggest enemy for me. For all children their parents are their biggest enemies when their wishes aren`t fulfilled. It`s the same thing.

If you have read Autobiography of a Yogi, there is a small instance when Paramhans Yoganand is going with his guru and there is a small procession to celebrate Durga puja or something like that and he thinks what nonsense this is and immediately his guru replies- this is how they show their love to the divine mother what is your problem? God always answers about himself but never about us, we keep thinking and thinking this and that and there is nothing – complete silence – how selfish God is?
Wherever you are reading “I”, it is not the I of me the ego but the simple human because there is no other word to denote or I have a very bad vocabulary.
So, we all entered with our shoes and slippers in hand and surprisingly there was a very good arrangement of holding them from the temple people. I kept walking slowly mixing in the crowd becoming part of the one great energy Maharaj Ji Neem karoli baba for those moments till we all reached to the prasad counter and received the malpua and aloo ki sabzi.

But those moments of immersing completely in and with the crowd, till the temple arrived and darshan happened and then darshan of siddhi ma happened, were will and always be indescribable. There will never be the words in any language because each heart resonates differently in those moments. And the whole play is of the heart- that electricity which is generated when you are walking slowly and mind has stopped thinking and you see your love in front of you.
Meeting with your friends after the darshan and sharing thoughts is again another experience.
So, I went towards the exit and there was a very old lady crouching with stick and the thought came if she can come in this flood of people and walk barefoot in this heat with stone piercing her sole then why not people come? And why do people come?
Because she had the energy of Neem karoli baba and call of neem karoli baba. What else can it be? I have no other answer to this.
It was again a day full of love grace lesson and pain and smile and tears of joy and love.
